Dr. Clover’s youngest patient (besides his daughters) has been 6 days old. She was a beautiful girl who was otherwise healthy, but crying constantly since the hour she was born. Her neck was kinked to the side and she was in pain. After her first visit to our office, she stopped crying constantly, and 3 visits later, her neck was straight.
Every child deserves a checkup after he or she is born to see if there are any minor spinal problems that can fixed easily. The more stressful the labor is, the more likely your child needs chiropractic care.
Dr. Clover has had advance training in pediatric and prenatal care, and uses extremely light adjustments and cranial sacral work on children. Dr. Robillard is Activator proficient and is very good with children as well.
For young children:
Dr. Clover has worked with over 100 women to help them have a pregnancy free of debilitating back pain. He uses gentler techniques and has a specially designed pillow for the mother’s comfort on the adjusting table. Adjustments are completely safe for the mother and unborn child. No mother should take pain killers during the pregnancy without first trying a natural, safe method for pain relief.
The 9 months of pregnancy as well as the birthing process is very stressful for the mother. The mother should undergo realignment of the pelvis and spine as soon as possible after childbirth to ensure her body heals correctly. This also allows the mother to be pain free while taking care of a newborn; a wonderful fulltime job!
For older children and young adults:
Aches and pain
Headaches and migraines
Anxiety and mental health issues
Autistic children respond very well to chiropractic care. These children’s nervous systems are wired differently and tend to have very tight spines and muscles. Chiropractic involves deeper pressure which is very therapeutic for them, helping with their anxiety and hyperactivity. Dr. Clover has treated many autistic and other special needs children. Having previously worked in public schools with special needs children, he loves working with this population.
